Our 2020 ACU CSWPC Women's AWL Team boasts a healthy mix of energetic up-and-coming youth and 'cool headed veterans'.
Club veterans Michaela Davies and Charlotte Cottle are supported by the recent acquisitions of former Cal Bears superstar Molly Quinn and Spanish-born, Arizona Sun Devil Claudia Abad bring a wealth of international experience to the team.
Former Cronulla junior and current Australian Stinger, Lena Mihailovic is joined by Victorian-born Maddy Steere as they continue their run towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Having two of the best players in the country certainly makes for a dangerous school of sharks.
As if this weren't enough, the formidable firepower of Kiara Holden, Brooke McClean, Pinky Rewi Henry and Bianca Smith is further enhanced with former Hartwick player Brittany Detar (nee. Tait) with Kimberley Keane back in blue after a partial loan to the Devils.
Like our Men's team, the most exciting part about these young women is the up-and-coming talent rising through our club. This year we have 5 born '02 girls fighting for game time and keeping the 'older' girl on their toes. Molly Colquhoun, Jade Vinson, Sophie Earl, Olivia Fraser and Tenisha Cook are the perfecft compliment to a that is already looking very competitive.
