The Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Club, which includes Gunnamatta Water Polo, prides itself on being a safe and welcoming community organisation. One of our values is belonging and we are sincerely committed to supporting every member within our club and respecting those of the wider community.

Finding Information
Member Protection means ensuring that all members of our Water Polo community feel included and safe is crucial and the Water Polo NSW Member Protection Policy (MPP) and the Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Member Protection & Grievance Policy. If you have any initial concerns or frustrations we encourage you to start with this policy.
For any questions or concerns regarding our club, members and the wider community are strongly encouraged to follow a logical escalation process and speak with the relevant official. The appropriate official is likely to vary based on the situation. For instance:
- items surrounding team dynamics, training, and games- please speak with your manager or coach first
- items surrounding squad dynamics, player pathways, and competition format- please speak with a committee member (Committee positions are listed here)
- items surrounding club operations or policies, or more sensitive items- please liaise with the club Public Officer, Secretary or President.
The Club also has a number of Member Protection Information Officers (MPIO). An MPIO's role is to help direct you to appropriate resources or contacts, it is not to offer advice on how to handle a particular situation or mediate disputes.

Member Protection & Child Safe Guarding
CSWPC aligns with and refers to the National Member Sport Integrity Australia's Member Protection Policy. It is a requirement of membership with CSWPC and Water Polo Australia that you adhere to this policy.
