Men's AWL 2020

After losing a number of the 'old guard' to retirement, international duties or other clubs, our 2020 ACU CSWPC Men's AWL team is certainly a young one.

Club stalwart Ben Matthews suffered a season ending injury in Round 1 which resulted in the average age of our men dropping by about 4 decades to just 21 years old. Despite all this, there is some fantastic talent coming through.

Captain Sam Cocokios and veterans Pat Northam, Dylan Holden and Ugljesa Miahailovic are supported in the peripherals by former captain Patch Falson who has taken a step back and become a 'home game specialist'.

There is additional fire power with returning 'import' Matija Durdevic being joined by our two new Japanese imports Yuto Abo and Kohei Inaba who are fast, powerful and have lazer shots from out top.

Speaking of shots from out top- Cronulla junior Tom Freeman returns from his stint playing for Long Beach in California, but not as a goalie. Tom has been telling people for 10 years he is a long-bomb specalist and this year he gets his chance as he swaps the red cap for the blue and white.

The more senior of our juniors (if that is even a thing) Danny Kerr, Jordan Duncan and Connor Barclay are supported by returning players Sam Rose, Dan Colaco and Hayden Molla highlighting what a strong cohort we have in this age bracket.

They are bolstered by the acquisition of some of the best young-guns from the sourthern state Jesse Taylor (SA) and Jimmy Dickson (VIC) who make their debut for the Sharks along with our junior-juniors Jack Winchester and Tristan Glanznig who are sure to see ample pooltime due to their frighteningly impressive fitness levels.
