ACU

In July 2016 the Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Club Inc. (CSWPC) and Australian Catholic University (ACU) entered into a partnership driven heavily by shared values of integrity, equity, excellence and wellbeing.

The affiliation allows the immediate benefit of offering leadership, participation and competition opportunities for ACU students, with the longer term aim of forming a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership which will help drive both talented water polo players into the club and admissions into ACU.

ACU For CSWPC Members

In addition to the ongoing financial support provided to ACU Cronulla Sharks, the agreement provides access for eligible ACU student members of the club to the ACU Elite Athlete and Performer Program (EAPP).

While studying at ACU, elite athletes are provided additional support to maintain sporting excellence while undertaking their studies. The Elite Athlete and Performer Program has been designed to support and encourage students to manage both areas of their life to ensure that elite student athletes and performers can achieve their goals.

ACU careers advice and enrolment assistance for current and prospective ACU student members is also provided.
